25 Weeks Belly Shot and Baby Update

I am now, 26 weeks, almost 27, but since I didn't post it last week, here is belly shot from week 25.

We went for our 3rd big ultrasound on January 2nd at the Tennessee Maternal Fetal Group. I previously had 2 done at my doctor's office and the techs could not get a good view of baby's heart so, my doctor decided to send us to TMFG where they have better trained people. It was a very nice place and they had a screen for just David and I to look at so I didn't have to strain my neck to see the screen the tech uses. Sweet baby was still in a somewhat balled up position but the tech was able to get her to move and see everything they look for. We thought they would just be looking for the heart but she said they look for everything because once I come to them, they are liable. So, we saw everything and thank goodness, everything was healthy. She looked for the sex twice and both times said confidently that baby was in fact a girl, phew! Of course I kept on pushing and finally she said "look, if that's a boy, those are some pathetic boy parts!" That was funny but won't be if baby does come out a boy! I did feel more confident, so much so, that I bought my first baby girl outfit. We have also started working on the nursery. Time is flying by! We have our next appointment on the 21st and I have to drink the yucky orange stuff to test for gestational diabetes. Fingers crossed that I pass it with flying colors.

If you are wondering why I am cracking up in the belly shot it's because when David got the camera out, Titan wandered into the picture and then Lucas kept darting back and forth in front of me trying to be in it.
