Monkey's Monday

On Monday, August 18th, Lucas and I picked up Jamie, Caymin and Carson and headed to the Monkey's Treehouse. Caymin was about to start school so she got to pick where we went that day. Nana and Uncle Bob met us over there and we enjoyed watching the kids play. Lucas was pretty obsessed with this black, I call them, Fred Flintstone, vehicle. Anytime someone got through playing with it he ran over and hopped in! He and Carson don't really need anyone to play with at this age but Caymin was desperate for someone to play with her. Luckily, towards the end, a cute little boy wanted to play with her. Hubba Hubba!! ;-)

A funny story about Lucas from the day is a bathroom story! Where we sat to watch the kids play, the bathrooms are right behind us. Someone obviously took the Browns to the Superbowl because every time the door to the bathroom opened, I almost gagged! Well, I had to pee so I braved the smell and went in. I did my thing and then some other mom came in after me. About 5 or 10 minutes later, Lucas needed a diaper change. We headed to the bathroom but that lady was still in the stall with the changing table. We stood there for a few minutes until Lucas says, "ooh gwoss, it stinks in here!" I giggled under my breath and took him out of there so not to embarrass the lady that was adding to the already stinky room! We just went to the men's bathroom instead! I didn't feel bad because he had been playing and never heard me mention the smell, he just told it like he smelled it!

After playing for a couple of hours, we headed to McDonald's and were treated to lunch by Nana & Bob! Thanks guys!!! It was a fun way to share in Caymin's last day of freedom!
