David's Birthday Weekend

On Friday, August 15th, David and I were able to have a date night to celebrate his 33rd birthday! We went to Genghis Grill in Cool Springs for dinner and it was GOOD! We had only been during a non-busy time before so, we were a bit shocked by the line, but it was worth it. Next, we watched the movie, Tropic Thunder. It was hilarious and Robert Downey, Jr. stole the show. We aren't sure why they had to drop so many cuss words but it was funny anyway. It was a great night but unfortunately, no pictures were taken!

The next morning we had a community garage sale. We had never done one before and weren't sure what to expect. I was surprised by the number of older men that showed up. We did well and made some mula to take on our trip to Florida! We also had enough left over to donate to the Goodwill! That night, Ger Ger had us over for dinner at her condo. She cooked lasagna, salad, and garlic bread! It was very yummy! We hung outside on her porch for a while and then watched some Olympics on TV. It was a fun way to celebrate David's birthday with the family!
