Splash Park and Outdoor Fun

Jill and I took the kids to a really cool splash park in Tempe, AZ on the 8th. I had only taken Lucas to one other splash park and it was when he was 1 and the water was freezing. I think he remembered that time because he was a little hesitant to let the water touch him on this outing! It was so hot that I wanted to get splashed so I didn't understand why he wouldn't enjoy it. He finally warmed up and splashed around but then he took a water gun to the head, I nailed some kid with my camera and Logan got stung by a bee! Logan and Brock did seem to be having the time of their lives but we packed it up and headed to Chick Fil A to meet Jen and Kendall for lunch.

Later that night when it cooled down to 95 degrees (ha ha), we let the kids play outside for a little while. Jill said during June, July and August it's rare to get to go outside. A storm was rolling in so we had a very nice breeze and Lucas finally got to play on the police car he had been eyeing through the door all day!
