Our Favorite All Star-Bryson Harris

On Thursday night, Lucas and I travelled about 2 seconds down the road to the ballparks to watch Bryson Harris play in his first All Star game. I think he was one of the youngest players on his regular season team but, because he did so well, he was chosen for All Stars! His cousin Aiden made the team as well and both boys did great! When we pulled into the parking lot Lucas let out a big Yay!! He was so excited but, the excitement soon turned to tears as we were walking to the field and he fell down and busted his mouth and nose on the concrete! Poor little buddy. After about 5 minutes of crying and some fruit snack bribery, he finally calmed down and watched the game! He did really well sitting in his chair for most of the game. A couple of times he wanted to check out the other fields but he did great. Bryson got a few hits and fielded the ball when it came to him. I didn't see Aiden hit but he did really well on defense. Personally, I felt the other team was stacked and despite Bryson and Aiden's team getting beat 20-10, I was really proud of both of them! Congratulations boys! I didn't get as many good pictures as I wanted but here are some cute ones. Thanks to Amber's dad, Dave Clark, for introducing yummy cheetos to Lucas!

Oh, after the game we played on the playground for an hour!! We didn't have dinner before we left and I thought with all the snacks we had he would be full but, at 8:30when we got home he wanted oatmeal and fruit! He ate it all gone and slept hard that night!
