We had a very fun filled 4th of July this year! We started out with our 1st Annual Bicycle Parade (or scooter, big wheel, stroller) around our subdivision! The kids decorated their means of transportation and Dan was the grand Marshall with the patriotic music playing from the back of his truck! Ger Ger came over and rode in the truck and then she watched Brooklyn while David, Lucas and I spent several hours at the pool with our neighbors. We went home and rested for a while and then we set up some tents and grilled out and everyone brought a side or two to share. We all had to huddle under the tents to eat because the rain showed up but it was great food and great fun! After the rain stopped, we headed down to Jay and Barbara's to watch a fireworks display! Some neighbors behind them were shooting them off as well and we got to see some really good fireworks! It was a wonderful, exhausting day!
