Mrs. Brenda spent the night with us the night before Brooklyn was born and was there to keep Lucas when we left early in the morning to go to the hospital. She watched him all day and got him dressed and ready and then Nana and Papa left the hospital and picked him up and brought him back to meet his sister. He told them he would hold her but he wouldn't kiss her! Too funny! He was a little shy when he first got in the room because there were several visitors but he seemed to warm up and enjoy meeting her. Jamie and her family had gotten him a gift and he was very excited it about it and playing with the new cars with his cousin Chase. Here are a few cute shots of him. He wouldn't pose for a family picture of all 4 of us and the one of him and I and Brooklyn isn't that great either but hey, you can't keep a 3 year old still!

I want to see Brooklyn again! This week is soooooo hectic being the end of school. Hopefully next week we can get together. I have a little gift for the baby. I've not read your grandmother's story yet but promise to get to it soon. I know she has such a great life story.
So glad to hear that Lucas is enjoying big brotherhood! Zachary had it rough at first because he didn't get to see Eli until he was already a week old. And it was "Eli's fault mommy and daddy had to be at the hospital so much!" It was pretty pitiful but he is a lot better now!
I love the ones of yall with her, and the one of Lucas David and Brooklyn are so emotional, cause you can read their minds through their faces! We gotta come hold too!
