For me, 2009 has been a very tough year, I would say one of the toughest. I know I have been lucky that the first 31 years were great. I lost ones that I loved but I never lost 3 in one year, and so close together, and so close to my heart. I first lost both grandmas and then on April 13th, I lost someone I considered a second mom in Linda Davis. She fought a hard battle with melanoma and while she was surrounded by so many that loved her, she passed on to a better place. I feel so lucky to have had her in my life for 25 years and to have spent so much time with her on trips and spending the night at her house with Nikki, etc. She always had something so sweet to say to me and I was always greeted with a big hug and her beautiful smile! I find it so hard to believe that she is gone but it is some comfort to know she isn't suffering anymore. I feel blessed that I got to say goodbye to her but my heart is broken that she is no longer with us. Please pray for her family and for all that loved her that we can find comfort in warm memories. I love you Davis family!

Great pictures. Linda will be greatly missed. I believe she is holding Jayson in the first picture. That was taken at your baby shower for Lucas at BHCC. So neat you've got a picture. I'm gonna steal it if you don't mind.
We continue to pray for yall and all of Linda's family. Eme still says prayers for Ms. Linda in heaven, and then in her prayer follows up with, "We know she is in God's loving arms."
