Valentine's Day

Unfortunately, I had to work on Valentine's Day but was excited to leave David and Lucas some gifts on the kitchen table when I left home dark and early!! I left David a CD, which I found out later he had already bought for himself, and some candy. Lucas got Madagascar 2 and a really cool heart shaped tin can filled with M&Ms. The can had an M&M on it playing hockey! They made one of the M&M's look like a puck too! It was perfect for my little hockey lover!

David and Lucas went to a birthday party at Pump It Up that morning and had a great time. Afterwards, David took Lucas to Play it Again Sports and bought him some hockey skates for his upcoming birthday! He said Lucas was very excited and liked trying them on. He said he wobbled a little when he tried to walk and almost fell down. He kept asking David if they could go skating right then! We will be looking into lessons soon!

When I got home there were 2 sweet cards from David and Lucas and some yummy candy!

That night, we had a Preds game to go to vs. the Boston Bruins who are number 1 in their division with a buttload more points then the next team! Our neighbors Allyson, Darren and Andrew ran in the 5K that morning and had tickets as well, so they rode with us. Lucas was on a total crack pipe with Andrew riding with us. He was constantly trying to make Andrew laugh! They had a photographer at the game that night and you could get your picture taken for free so we stood in line and had our picture taken. I was so excited because we all smiled in our picture! It turned out pretty good! The Fitzsimons' picture turned out great too! I think Andrew was really cheesing but hey, it's a smile!! It was a great game and we won in a shootout!
