Tomorrow, Friday the 16th, we will bury my sweet grandma Hardison. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 12th. It was a shock because I had just seen her on New Years Eve day and she seemed so great. It is also a blessing that she went without pain and without ever having to live anywhere but in her own home. I will miss her so much and I know how lucky I am to have had her in my life for almost 32 years. I have always been very thankful that my brother and I were blessed with two of the best sets of grandparents anyone could ask for. Grandma was good to me in every way and I looked forward to our visits always from when I was little all the way until 12/31/08. She was always excited to receive my phone calls and we had wonderful conversations. She was most recently excited to talk to me when I called to tell her we were having a girl. She had four boys so she thought it was so special that I would be having a baby girl. She was crazy about Lucas and thought he could do no wrong. I am grateful to have so many sweet pictures of the two of them. She never got a computer so I still got to enjoy receiving and writing letters and cards with her. I will miss those very much.
My uncle was killed in Vietnam and I have always apprecitated the fact that she had to go through such a tragedy and still carry on. She was a strong woman that loved God and I know she is enjoying His company and the reunion with my grandpa and her son.
I loved her very much and I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful grandmother in my life. Even though she is in the best place, please pray for my dad, his brothers and the rest of our family as we have to go on without her...until we meet again.
I am posting a few pictures. I only have pictures from 2004 to 2008 on this computer but, these are some good ones!

Holly,
I am so sorry about your grandmother. I lost one of my grandmother's about 2 years ago and I still can't believe that she is gone. It is great that she got to see Lucas so much! You are in our thoughts and prayers!
