Have you thought of any names??

Finally, the question we have been asked a million times can be answered! Yes, we have thought of a name and it's the one! We wanted to wait until we picked "the" name because we didn't want to hear any "oh, I don't like that" or, "oh my god, please don't name your kid that!" Don't laugh, I know it happens and especially from mom's and mom's-in-laws!!! So, if you don't like it, that's ok, just talk about it behind our backs not to us! ha ha!

Anyway, we weren't planning on doing family names for any of our kids. Basically, because we don't want to hurt any one's feelings and with Lucas, the choices were few! My dad's name is Erwin Cecil Hardison, III and he didn't want that name to continue!! David's dad and his grandfather's on both sides have their names already used in David's brother's names so, no need to repeat those! My grandfather's names were Erwin Cecil, Jr. and George. Although I loved both of my grandpas SOOOOOO much, I already explained the Erwin Cecil and even though I like the name George, we just had other ideas.

Anyway, when we found out we were having a girl, we already had a first name in mind because we liked it with pregnancy #1. We just needed a middle name. We had some ideas in mind for that too but then we decided since she is a girl and we love our mother's we would do something to honor them. The first name is Brooklyn and the lyn part is for David's mom's middle name. The middle name is going to be Cecylia for my mom's mom, grandma Kuzminac. My mom has been caring for my grandma for a while now and she's not in good health. She has lived a most interesting and hard life and it will be an honor for our little girl to have her name. So, now we just have to hope it's still a girl so that Brooklyn Cecylia Pring can be used!!
