A happy Nana & Papa
Ger Ger is thrilled!
This morning we went to the doctor and had an ultrasound to confirm that we have a viable pregnancy! We even got to see it's little heartbeat! We are 7 weeks along and due on April 19, 2009. The heart rate was 138 bpm. We had an ultrasound with Lucas at 6 weeks and his was 124. It was a relief to see the little thing fluttering!
We shared the news with some of the family last week in Destin because it seemed too perfect of a situation to waste (my parents, my uncle Bob, David's mom and brother's were all there)!
Lucas loved the attention although we really didn't stress to him what was going on. We want to wait a little while just to make sure things are fine. He will be 3 years old and 2 months when baby 2 comes around! I pray this is a good age difference!!
If you don't mind, say a little prayer that we have a healthy baby!
