Lilian turns 4!

Our neighbor, and Lucas' little buddy, Lily, turned 4 on July 21st but celebrated on Sunday, the 20th, at the Monkey's Treehouse. David had a hockey game so Lucas and I went without him. It's such a cute, fun place for the kids to play and everyone seemed to have a great time. Since the kids were busy running around everywhere, I didn't get too many pictures. I didn't even see Lily until we had been there for about 20 minutes!

Lucas of course enjoyed the pizza and cake but got really excited when he saw Lily for the first time. He yelled out to her and wished her a happy birthday. They had a pinata that you don't hit but pull individual strings. When it was Lucas' turn he ran over with the string in his hand all excited, "ooky mommy at what I got!" I had to explain that the real excitement would come when the candy dropped! And, it did!

He passed out in the car with a lollipop in hand before we got a mile down the road!
