Tunica

On Friday, May 16th, we dropped Lucas at Nana & Papa's house and headed to Tunica, Mississippi with Chris & Jamie Ladd and Eli McTee. Chris had a coaching clinic at The Grand and they invited us to come along! The trip down there went quickly because we talked and goofed off the whole time. The hotel was very nice but not connected to the casino. Tunica is not Vegas but we did have a GREAT time. It was nice to hang out with friends and not have to discipline any kids! Jamie and I got a pedicure and David played golf one afternoon. Chris and Eli spent a lot of time in the clinics learning from the best! We got to visit with them during lunch and dinner and then when we would head to the casino! We would get there at 8 and back to the room at 3 a.m.! Haven't done that in a while! Jamie and I decided the quarter and fifty cent slots were not for us and ate our money way too fast. We ended up playing blackjack a lot and penny and nickel slots. I won $115 on the nickel slots and she had gotten up to check on the boys, there was no one to celebrate with as the machine was ringing up my credits!! David and the boys enjoyed playing Craps and David did really well. The day we left we went to Sam's Town to play the free slot credits we had gotten at a Preds game. David made $15 and paid for his lunch and half of mine with that!

I never see anyone I know in Nashville but we went to Tunica and ran into our old softball coach and teammates and a guy that went to Tech with us! Crazy stuff!

Jamie was hoping we would get pregnant on the trip so we could name our baby Tunica Grand Pring like they named their little girl Caymin from the Cayman Islands! Since we shared a room, this dream of hers was not fulfilled! We had a great time and thanks Ladds for letting us tag along! Since you couldn't take your cameras in the casinos we didn't take many pics.
