Matt is a Graduate!

On Wednesday, May 21st, my oldest nephew, Matthew Wayne, graduated high school from Hunters Lane. Because their class was 300 plus, they held the graduation at the gym at TSU. I think that gym had more people in it that night than ever before. The seats were all taken and people were standing. Parents kept yelling out their child's name during the speeches trying to let them know where they were seated. It was complete madness but a proud moment for me. I got there before anyone else but was unable to save seats. I got as close to the stage as I could and hoped I would find everyone after the ceremony. After he graduated they just released everyone outside and it took several minutes to locate him but Kevin finally did. I could tell he was proud to have graduated because he never smiles for the camera and he was more than willing to pose and smile on this night!

Congrats Matt, I'm so proud of you. Nana & papa had to miss the big day but were proud for his accomplishment too!

Thanks to Ger Ger for letting Lucas visit you at the Preds and then play with Vicki at your house! He had a great time and still talks about it!
