I have always wanted to be able to eat lunch with my niece and nephews at their schools. In the past, it was not really possible since I worked full time. Because I am now a part timer, today I was able to eat lunch with Chase and meet his teacher and friends. (I think my niece Kayla and nephew Matt might be embarrassed if I came to school with them now!) I had a great time visiting with Chase though. We got to go to the cafeteria early and spend about 10 minutes together eating the McDonalds I brought. He got a great prize in his Happy Meal that all the kids enjoyed playing with. The rest of the class joined us for lunch and they were all so sweet, cute and funny. After lunch everyone headed back to the classroom for a game. I got to see his class and watch his teacher in action. She seems like a wonderful teacher who loves what she does. Her classroom was so nice and the walls were filled with learning tools, artwork, rules, etc. Next, I was disappointed because they had to go to recess for an hour so I went ahead and left before I could give them the goody bags I had made. The teacher told me she would let Chase hand them out when they were done. I am so glad I got to go and I did get to take a few pictures. I was hoping to take more but the recess thing messed it up.
A view of the class and teacher!
What a goofball!
I had to sneak this picture!
Cool walls!
I was impressed with her class!
