Happy Halloween

For Halloween, Lucas and I went to Troy, Julie, and Ellie's house for some pizza and pictures around 5 p.m. I took some cupcakes for dessert and Lucas kept asking for one the whole time I was trying to get us in the car! It was fun to see the gang from our Florida trip and the kids all in their cute costumes. Of course Lucas gave one of his famous duh faces for the group pictures! David was working in Cookeville so he couldn't get home in time for the pizza. He did get home just in time for the trick or treaters! Lucas and I got home around 6:30 and I changed his diaper and we headed out. I was so excited for him to trick or treat and then, so frustrated with how he did it! He didn't really understand that we had to go from one house to the next. He wanted to hang out at each house and see their pumpkins! When I would try to get him away he would scream and cry! I wanted to pull my hair out. We only did about 7 houses and I was done! He then started having a great time once he got back to our house and found David's hockey stick in the garage. Can you picture a 20 month old, in a dragon/dinosaur costume, going up and down the street pretending to play hockey with a stick twice his size??? It was cute! I will give him credit for keeping his costume on, including the headpiece, all the way until we took it off for bath time!
