Lucas' New Hat and "Pee Pee Potty"

Ger Ger got Lucas a new hat last year, thinking ahead for this year. It's still a little big but really cute on him! It looks like a joker's hat with all these things hanging down off it. He likes swinging his head and making them go back and forth. He wore it for the whole game Thursday night but not so much Saturday night! In this picture he doesn't have a hockey stick so he is settling for a broom!

I started putting him on his potty insert on Tuesday to get him use to sitting on the potty and Thursday night before the game he peed! I think I stopped him halfway through because I was so shocked and excited, I think I startled him! David and I made a huge deal out of it and he got so excited saying, "pee pee potty, good job!" Friday night he did it again! I just couldn't believe it! I wasn't expecting him to go so, now that he has, I expect it all the time, big mistake! He hasn't done it since, but we (including the sitters) keep trying during the day and night! He'll get it eventually!

One more story, Amy Haynes watches Lucas on Friday's and she noticed he likes to say Go Predators and Go Preds so she taught him to sing the Tim McGraw song that goes along with the score song. Now he loves to sing "I like it, I love it, go Predators!" Tonight he said, "I like it, I love it, I want some more, Predators." Not exactly the words, but cute nonetheless!
