A Couples Shower

On Saturday August 25, David, my mom, my dad and myself hosted a couples shower at our house for Nikki and John. We had a great turnout and Nikki and John got some great gifts! We had bbq and all the fixings, fruit, a beautiful, tasty cake from Publix, and beer and wine. We had koozies made for everyone who attended for their use at the shower and to take home. They were pink (well fusia really) with brown writing and said "To Have and To Hold and Keep Your Beer Cold-Nikki & John 9/22/2007!" They turned out cute and, except for everyone forgetting which drink in which koozie was theirs, I think everyone liked them! My mom made some pins for Nikki and John to wear from scrapbooking stickers that turned out too cute!

Since Nikki's mom couldn't make it to the shower that day and some others had things come up as well, I am going to post all my pictures. We had a great time and look forward to the wedding!

I also want to say a big thanks to Ger Ger and Uncle Michael for keeping Lucas and Titan all day so we could get ready and so it could be a kid and dog free shower! As you can see from the pictures, Lucas did make an entrance and wanted the balloons immediately!
