Nana and Papa decided they wanted Lucas to have a swing set in our new backyard. They went out looking for one when they decided it would be easier just to give us a budget. With their very generous funds, we found a swing set we really liked at Sam's Club. They had one on display so we were able to take a look at it and then we discovered our neighbors down the street had just put the same one up. They were nice enough to let Lucas try it out and when he giggled with delight, we knew it was the one! It came in 4 huge boxes and a million pieces (no joke). I took one look at all the individual pieces and was instantly overwhelmed. Luckily David is so handy and loves a challenge. After several days of working on it alone and one day with this friend Chris Gangone (thanks Chris), he finished it last night (July 10). Lucas was so excited to explore his new playhouse and surprised us by how he could climb the ladder and go through the tube area that we thought he would be afraid of. We decided 2 people need to be out there with him since he appears to be fearless. The set did not come with a toddler swing but luckily my brother had given us my nephew Chase's old one and it works perfect and even plays music! Lucas loves it and we both love David for working so hard on it. Thanks mom and dad for a great gift and thanks David for the sacrifice your body and time has taken! Here are some pictures from last night and a couple from today when I got home from work.

Looks like fun!!!
Who needs the park when you've got that in your backyard!! What a blessed little boy to have such thoughtful grandparents :)
