David, Lucas and I headed to the doctor on Monday the 23rd for my 36 week appointment. This was the first appointment that she started checking to see if I am dilated. We were in for quite a surprise when she told me I was dilated to 3!! I am not due until April 19th so we were caught a little off guard. I know you can sit at a 3 for a long time but the day I had Lucas, when we arrived at the hospital when I was in labor, I was a 4! So, not too far off! I am trying to take it easy because my doctor is going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday! She was in Mexico when Lucas was born so I am kind of hoping she will be here for this birth!!
The good news is, I didn't gain any weight at the appointment (total gain 22), our neighbor and friend Allyson found out they were having a girl too, and I already have ours and Lucas' bags packed just in case!! You really aren't considered full term until 37 weeks so if I have to go early, I hope to make it until next week so I can be full term and my doctor can be here. No pics to post at this time. Can you believe it's getting so close to meeting our little ones? I have my section scheduled for April 16th but I'm a little unsure if I'll make it. Beckham came at 37weeks and my section is scheduled for me to be at 39 weeks so we'll see...I've got my stuff ready to go too! I've been hard core nesting...if anything sits still too long I make a label for it on my label maker! Keep updating! I've been doing a lousy job of posting on my blog but I love reading yours! :)
