On Saturday, November 8th, David, Lucas and I travelled to Cookeville for Tennessee Tech's homecoming. We stopped off first at Jenny and J.P. Holmes' house and visited with them. Lucas had a blast wrestling, tackling and playing with their two sons Connor and Nathan. Their daughter Katie was not home so we didn't get to see her. We ate lunch with them and they gave Lucas some Thomas the Trains and a train mat that makes into a storage box. We then met Meredith, Jay, Anderson and Brenden at the game. We sat all the way at the top because they had the hookup to the President's box and we could go in and out of there when we got too cold. Even with that relief, the wind was just too much. We only stayed until halftime and then headed home. We only saw a few people we knew while there since we were at the top but Lucas' babysitter on Fridays, Amy Haynes was there watching her cousin play and she came up and visited with us.
The Bingham's then came and stayed with us on Monday and we had a great visit and enjoyed watching the boys play hockey. I didn't take many pictures of either event but here are a few. I wanted a good picture of all three boys but Brenden wanted no part and Anderson was upset they had to leave! Check out the bruise on Lucas' nose! He needs a face guard when playing hockey!! Emblem on the field!
