I can't tell you how excited I am about Vandy and their season so far!! Oh, all those years of ulcers and finally, sweet victories!! It's not just their defense this year, they've got offense!!! The thing I love the most is for all 5 games, they have been down and come back! It's so much sweeter than being up and then blowing it at the end. You can tell that things have turned just by the fumble and recovery Adams made at the crucial point at the end of the game. In the past, Auburn would have recovered the fumble and scored and we would all have been crying!
The best thing is that David is an Auburn fan and recently started flying an AU flag off of our house. I told him he needed to be fair and get me a Vandy flag but we didn't get one before game day. I decked out in my shirt and earrings and had to put up with him saying "I'm really sorry Holly!" after Auburn went up by 13! Ah, it was so nice to win that one and turn the apologies back on him!! I do have to say, he cheers for Vandy when they don't play Auburn.
Go Vandy! Even if they don't win another one this season (please win though), I am so proud of these first 5 victories and to be a Vandy fan!! Woohoo!

Go VU! Definitely a different Vandy team. It has been several years in the making. I hope it continues! (I was wondering if your house was divided Saturday...) ;)
It is exciting! I just wish I would have had my video camera out when they were about to win. Troy would have had some major blackmail!
