Lucas' Actual Birthday

Lucas turned 2 on Tuesday, February 19th! Just like last year, we had a hockey game on his birthday. It's kind of crazy because when he turned 1 we had a Preds game that night and it was a Monday night, not a usual game night. This year we had one on Tuesday night, not that common either! The Preds must know how much our little guy loves to watch hockey and schedules the games on his big day!! If we have one next year on a Wednesday, it will be getting a little crazy!! ;-)

Anyway, I made little baggies of candy and handed them out to people in our section and my dad, uncle and anyone else that we know that goes to the games! The ladies that sit behind us brought cupcakes and cookies for Lucas' birthday and another girl, Courtney's birthday. They had gold, blue and white icing to choose from and although they were pushing blue, I made them give Lucas the white icing, I remembered from his party how that blue and gold stuck around!! He of course loved eating a cupcake! Our section, who never wins a thing, won scratch off lottery tickets that night! We didn't win anything from the tickets but it was fun trying. Gnash made a visit to our section so we tried to get some photos with him but this buttmunch and his daughter, from Connecticut, pushed his way through and messed it all up! Oh well, we tried!
