Wednesday Fun with Friends

I am lucky enough to only have to work part-time. My schedule has changed a few hundred times due to babysitting changes and other things but now I have off on Mondays and Wednesdays. Because two of my bestest friends also don't work on those days, we have been trying to get together with our kids on one of those days, usually Wednesday. On January 23, Jamie and I took Lucas and Carson to the train store in Crieve Hall. Jamie had taken Carson once and he LOVED it. It was really neat except the owner has a ton of inventory and it's all in the reach of little children, mainly, my child, that wanted all of it!! I spent the first 20 minutes chasing him around telling me we didn't own this or that and trying to get him to just play with the trains. Finally, he caught the drift and played pretty well. We then picked up Caymin from school and headed to McDonald's for some lunch and more playtime. It was a great day and Lucas and I both needed a nap when we got home!!

The next Wednesday, January 30, we planned to go to Pump It Up in Cool Springs with Jamie, Caymin, Carson, Amber, Bryson and Jayson. Caymin ended up getting strep throat so the Ladd's couldn't go but we still went with Amber and the boys. We had a great time jumping and sliding! We then headed to Burger King for lunch and Old Navy for some shopping. The boys did great together.
