TTU vs. Auburn

David is a big Auburn fan and, we both graduated from Tennessee Tech University so, we were very excited to see that they would be playing each other this year for Auburn's football homecoming. We left Lucas with my mom and dad and took the new minivan to Atlanta on Friday to stay with our friends the Rosenfelds! Can't beat free room and board for the night with friends! We got up the next morning and headed the rest of the way to Auburn! TTU had an alumni event so we parked there for free and ate some free food. We only saw 2 people we knew there so we caught the shuttle to the stadium and out of thousands of people there, I spotted our friends David and Allison Clem! We got to visit with them for a few minutes and then headed for our seats. We have been to games before at Auburn and we have paid $60 more than we paid for the TTU game and sat up in the nosebleed. The seats we had for this game were cheap and the best we have ever had. We were 14 rows from the field on the corner of the end zone! It was fun cheering on Tech, the obvious underdog. They played so much better than the score indicated. At halftime we saw some more people we knew and visited with them. Too bad we missed the halftime show. They had alumni cheerleaders that were going to perform and one lady was like 70!!!! It was crazy! We had a great time. If my smile looks jacked up it's because I got a cold sore right before the weekend! Fun times!
