Lucas vs Ravioli

Lucas developed this nasty habit of opening his mouth and letting all the food fall out. He didn't or rather doesn't do it all the time but it makes me want to kill my friends and family! (inside joke) Anyway, it makes meal time a challenge. He has really gotten better about it and basically only does it when he doesn't like what is going into his mouth! One night, I knew he was hungry, but when I was feeding him his ravioli, he kept opening his mouth, sticking his tongue out and letting every bit of the messy red food fall onto the tray and his clothes! So, I gave up and decided to let him feed himself. He feeds himself a lot of the time but not usually red stuff! He was so excited to do this that he ate every bit of it! I captured the mess on camera! Oh, he also likes to make fists and hold his breath or act like he is showing his muscles. I crack up everytime. He was doing a little bit of this in the last two pics!
