Lucas had been taking a lot of steps on his own but we never seem to have the camera around. One night he walked 12 steps on his own, the most he had done without falling. It was funny, he walked about 6 then stopped in the middle of the room and stood there watching the Preds play away and then he continued on the rest of the 12. Friday night, he was walking everywhere. He just lets go and goes and I ran downstairs and got the camera this time! It took a few takes because he loves the camera and becomes easily distracted when it comes out (as you will see towards the end). I guess I have to breakdown and buy those white, high top looking, walking shoes! My baby, what's happened to my baby????
Also, we have been working on sounds and he imitates a dog barking and a monkey. He has an animal train that makes animal noises and he likes to do the monkey sound. He usually makes the barking sound at Titan when he is in the highchair and Titan is begging. I was changing his diaper the other day and Titan started barking outside to come in and Lucas started doing the woof woof sound. It's so cute! You will hear a little of the woof woof, after I ask him about 20 times to do it!
