Lucas is 9 Months Old!

Yesterday, November 19th, our baby turned 9 months old! It is just so hard to believe that in 3 months he will be a year old. He continues to be more fun with each day. He loves to laugh and fake laughs a lot just to hear himself. He likes to fake cough as well! I had started giving him real food last week but really wanted to wait on the Dr. to give me the ok before I went all out (I am a recipe follower too)! She told me I could give him anything I wanted except for egg whites and peanut butter, so look out, he's going to love Thanksgiving!!! He has been rolling his hands up like Patty Cake on his own for several months but now if you ask him to roll them up, he will. He will also wave bye bye and he mocks sounds that you make. He has an obsession with wheels. He has a couple of cars and a train and his push toy and if you look around the room they are all on their sides or backs because he loves to turn the wheels. He is wearing 12 to 18 month clothing now but the other day I put some 6 month shorts on him and they fit because he still has a small waist. He is still loving the hockey games and we are trying to teach him the cheer done when we score. We are also working on touchdown! He laughs and loves it when we hold his arms up but so far he hasn't done it on his own yet! Hopefully we will be getting his 9 month pictures taken this weekend so check back for those and for Thanksgiving pictures. I hope all of you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year!
