Lucas' First Wedding (as a non-fetus)!

We took Lucas to our friends Matt Barnes and Missy Ingram's wedding on Saturday, August 5th. It was in Alabama and since it was only going to take us 3 hours to get there, we decided it would be fun to take him along. He did great in the car and really great at the wedding! It was a beautiful, but very hot day, and the wedding was especially nice. It was at Missy's parent's house, on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River. The view was amazing! Lucas didn't cry the entire night until the ride home. It was past his bedtime and he apparently knew it! Everyone seemed to be impressed by how well he behaved for a baby. He was just taking it all in! We got there an hour early so we hung out inside in the air conditioning and the room we were in had huge windows that overlooked the wedding area. Lucas was mesmerized (notice in the picture) by the action going on outside to get everything ready. He must have thought that was the biggest TV he had ever seen!
